ART EXHIBITION | 09th September - 18th December 2026
Experience works by Arthur Löwen & Tanja Thordsen
MASSOUMI Art Exhibition at Maschinenraum
The MASSOUMI Gallery is opening its doors at Maschinenraum Berlin for an exhibition that shows the works of Tanja Thordsen and Arthur Löwen, two artistic positions with their own distinctive visual languages, materials and perspectives.
THE HIGHLIGHT: During Art Week in Berlin, we celebrate an "ODE an die Kunst" - together with ODE Aperitif, a brand known for its bold colours, craftsmanship and a contemporary take on aperitif culture.
On the 9th September, we invite you to experience all of that with us in a relaxed atmosphere - getting inspired by unexpected aesthetics and shared conversations.
An evening dedicated to contemporary art, new encounters and the pleasure of looking at things differently.

Come by and treat your senses with artworks by Tanja Thordsen and Arthur Löwen.

Arthur Löwen
Arthur Löwen’s paintings exist at the intersection of gesture, symbol, and memory.
His works emerge through layers, traces, and fragmented interventions that reveal not so much a concrete image, but rather an emotional and physical state.
In Löwen’s practice, paint becomes more than a medium as it turns into a carrier of energy, movement, and compression.

Tanja Thordsen
Tanja Thordsen develops a distinctive practice situated between painting, sculpture and contemporary material art.
At the core of her work is beeswax – an organic substance that not only absorbs time, light and traces of touch, but makes the visible as integral elements of the work itself.

Ju Schnee
Ju Schnee combines traditional oil painting with augmented reality, creating works that go beyond the purely visual and become immersive experiences.

Efkan and Oemer
Efkan and Oemer are an artist-duo based in Germany that explores contemporary culture through a practice shaped by clarity, structure and material presence.

Lori-Ann Urbanski
Lori-Ann Urbanski works primarily in figurative painting, where she explores the boundaries between the familiar and the unsettling.

Merlin Luczynski
Merlin Luczynski combines traditional materials with experimental techniques and spiritual symbols to aspire for new forms of expression.
